I have put in my efforts and landed in a new job with MNC. Later on, I started to think of it, and I got my new job because my looks and clean-shaven face brought me into this job. I realized that  keeping negative thoughts out gave me confidence, making me comfortable getting the job I wanted, thus, fulfilling my dream.

  

  1. Be the Latest and update Your Profile

Always be ready with an updated resume with add-ons, if any and apply for any new position with an update resume. In most cases, one should have to alter the profile with more content as it fits the Job description provided by the companies. List of things that one should take care of when updating your resume:

  

  • Verify and update dates corresponding to the companies you worked for before.
  • Either remove or update the projects-related content with which you are not comfortable
  • Make sure to place the URL of your LinkedIn Profile which facilitates clients to go through your profile history.
  • Remove irrelevant information in the profile that doesn’t fit the role and the job offered by companies.
  • Do cross-check to make sure having meaningful roles and responsibilities suited to your experience.

  

  1. Grooming& Readiness
This is all about how you look and feel comfortable in the best way to ensure getting the position. Make yourself feel good and confident. Don’t give any reason or opportunity to get eliminated by the company. So, focus on the following before going for the interview:

 

  • Get ready with professional looks with a decent haircut and clean shave.
  • Plan to attend the interview in formal attire, and don’t get into trouble with Jeans and T-shirts.
  • Women should follow with either elegant straight hair or a simple pony tail.

  

  1. Dress Code

One cannot attend the interview in casual attire, but the formals are ok. Men can wear trousers, a full-hands shirt with a tie, and a suit jacket, whereas women can opt for formal bold, colour shirts with knee-length skirts or follow by plain trousers.

 Regarding shoes, women can go with mid-low heels, while men are good with formal leather shoes. This dress code that we mentioned here is all about IT professionals. Still, it depends on the company culture and type of business they are into.

  1. Commuting

At any cost, one should arrive on time for the interview when it was scheduled especially. One can use Google Maps to know the exact commuting time with and without traffic. It would be best if you prepared yourself accordingly.

  1. Smoking

If you smoke, switching off smoking for at least two days before the scheduled interview is advised to eliminate odour. To expect a desired job without issues, you should handle the above things with increased confidence.
